Take A Moment

Dear Circle of Hope,

Today I wanted to take the opportunity to offer you an invitation…

Take a moment to be kind to yourself.

It doesn’t have to be in a large, long or profound way.

Just a moment in your day to remind yourself of some key things:

You are a human being not a human doing and you are alive.

And as you take this moment, remember that you are enough and that you are loved.

We live in a world where many of us find that our thoughts are filled with negativity. If this negativity isn’t focused at our own worth or value or lovability, it might be about the realities of the world around us. The reality of war, conflict, abuse, climate change, environmental disasters, poverty, politics, discrimination, racism are all there for us to witness and take their toll on our wellbeing. The weight of the world is often carried heavily on our shoulders and carried heavily in our minds, bodies and hearts too.

This is why we need to take a moment. In this act, we are resetting our awareness and consciousness and remembering the good that is present within us and in this world. Taking a moment can nourish and rejuvenate us for the way ahead.

So take a deep breath in and then breathe out slowly…and take a moment.

Thank you for being part of our Circle of Hope.

Grace and peace,

Phil
