Our Byron Bay Sewing & Social Group takes place at the Byron Bay Uniting Church from 9am-3pm and 6pm-9pm on Mondays.
This activity is an opportunity for people to gather and engage in their shared interest related to all things sewing. Each week people spend time working on their own projects and encouraging or sharing their knowledge with one another. Whether it is quilting, tapestry, cross-stitch, knitting, sewing or some other creative passion, this is a safe and encouraging place for you. There is always time for a cuppa, a chat and word of encouragement. If you are a beginner there is also the opportunity to learn some new skills from those with experience.
Over the years the Sewing & Social Group has created pieces to support local community groups, fundraisers and even quilts for the Byron Bay Central Hospital when it officially opened.
This group welcomes all interested people and feel free to drop by if you are interested to get a sense of this wonderful activity.
